Christoval ISD is putting their school bond election on the November ballot

At a Board of Trustees meeting for Christoval ISD, the district unanimously decided they are putting their school bond election on the November ballot.

SAN ANGELO, TX — This comes just months after the original bond failed to pass back in May. The new bond will cost a total of $11,640,000 and will fund renovations for the elementary school and the high schools STEM Career Academy.

"I'm very pleased by tonights outcome I think it was a good move by our Board of Trustees to employ our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers to do a more extensive study of our elementary to ensure we have good numbers, good cost estimates, and to arrive at a good plan," said Superintendent David Walker.

A new bond committee has also been created called 'BAC-PAC', or Bond Accountability Committee and Political Action Committee, which the district hopes will help encourage folks to vote yes to the new proposition.
