SAN ANGELO, Texas — Update: (approximately 1 p.m. Nov. 28): According to an updated AEP Texas Facebook post, electric service has been restored to 5,000 customers.
Crews are working to restore service to the 2,600 customers without electricity.
AEP Texas crews responded to an outage affecting San Angelo customers Saturday.
According to an AEP Texas Facebook post, the outage is affecting approximately 7,600 customers.
The cause of the outage was unknown at the time of the post.
AEP Texas wants to thank its customers for the patience while it works to restore service.
