ABILENE, Texas — Contractors for the Texas Department of Transportation will begin a crack seal maintenance project for the 13 county district in late January.
According to a TxDOT press release, the project was awarded to D&M Contractors of Van for $544,430. The project will clean and fill cracks along major corridors throughout the district.
The project will begin Monday, Jan. 25 and is expected to be finished in late February.
The traveling public can expect lane closures while the work is complete, the release said. Signs will be in place in the area to notify drivers of work zones.
A flagger and a pilot car will be present to assist drivers through the work zone.
