UPDATE: Missing San Angelo man found safe

SAN ANGELO, Texas — UPDATE (10 p.m. Feb. 3): According to a nixle alert from the San Angelo Police Department, 26-year-old Kevin Minzenmayer has been safely located Wednesday evening. 

UPDATE (10 a.m. Feb. 3): San Angelo Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division investigators have assembled a multi-agency task force to help in the search of a missing medically-endangered San Angelo man.

Kevin Minzenmayer, 26, who was reported missing at approximately 6:45 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, was last seen by family members at approximately  9 p.m. Jan. 29, 2021, according to an SAPD press release. 

Minzenmayer had access to a white 2005 Nissan Titan with a Texas license plate ending in 8830. He is a white male, bald with brown eyes, approximately 5’11”, and 300 lbs. He was last seen wearing a light-blue or gray T-shirt and gray sweatpants.

Minzenmayer suffers from a chronic brain disorder that requires medication.

Evidence suggests he may have recently been around area lakes and parks.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts or recalls seeing him or the Nissan truck, is asked to contact San Angelo Public Safety Communications at 325-657-4315.

If you encounter Minzenmayer, call 9-1-1, as he is in need of medical intervention.

Police issued the first missing endangered person Nixle alert and via social media accounts shortly after receiving the missing person report. 

ORIGINAL STORY: The San Angelo Police Department is asking for help in locating a missing 26-year-old white male last seen driving a white 2005 Nissan Titan with license plate BNF8830.

According to an SAPD Nixle alert issued Saturday evening, the man is Kevin Minzenmayer who is medically endangered.

Minzenmayer is described as 5 feet 11 inches, 300lbs, bald, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a light blue or grey t-shirt and grey sweatpants
