SAN ANGELO, Texas — The San Angelo Police Department is asking the public to help locate a four-year-old good Samaritan and her adult guardian.

According to an SAPD Facebook post, at approximately 7:45 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, one of its patrol supervisors was obtaining coffee from the Starbucks drive-thru on Sherwood Way.

A driver got out of her vehicle and brought a four-year-old girl over his car and she gave him a cake pop and thanked him for his service, according to the post.

The sergeant is looking for the little girl and her family to give them a proper "Thank you.".

SAPD is asking if the message reaches the correct family to send an inbox message with their name, number and the description of the vehicle they were driving that day (for verification purposes). SAPD will put the sergeant in touch with the family.
