San Angelo senior centers to open in April with temporary hours of operations

SAN ANGELO, Texas — The Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing senior centers will open in April with temporary hours of operation. The City of San Angelo provided an updated class schedule, including times.

According to a City release, the Station 618 Senior Center will open April 1, while the Santa Fe Crossing will open April 6. 

The Station 618 Senior center only be open for fitness classes and use of the workout room. 

The senior center will temporarily open from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday.

Additional classes and activities will be added to the schedule in the upcoming months, according to the release. 

The Santa Fe Crossing Senior Center will only be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday for art classes. 

Curbside meals offered by the Nutrition program will continue from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. until further notice.

Face masks are recommended in the senior centers and six feet spacing between attendees will be in place during classes.
