The number of COVID-19 cases reported in Abilene-Taylor Co. drops Saturday

ABILENE, Texas — The Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District reported eight new COVID-19 cases Saturday, a decrease from the 40 reported Friday.

The public health district also reported seven new recoveries, bringing the number of active cases to 181, with 23 current hospitalizations.

Eight-thousand-eight-hundred-twenty-five tests have been administered in Abilene-Taylor County, with 494 of those tests being confirmed cases.

The health district is working to include antigen testing results in its daily reporting and has identified 123 positive COVID-19 cases through antigen testing, as of June 25
