Two senior centers to resume normal operating hours beginning June 14

Some activities and special events held in the past may not be available in 2021.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Two San Angelo senior centers will resume normal operating hours from Monday through Friday, beginning Monday, June 14.

According to a City of San Angelo release, not all activities and special events held in the past will be available this year.

Operating hours for the centers are as follows:

  • Station 618, 702 S. Chadbourne St. - from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Santa Fe Crossing, 618 S. Chadbourne St. - from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m
  • Santa Fe Nutrition Program - from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Curbside meals will no longer be available, according to the release.

Senior center staff encourages participants to take their own precautions. Face masks are recommended at the centers.

Those who have received the COVID-19 vaccine should follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.

Hand sanitizer and disinfectant to clean equipment and supplies will be available throughout the center.
