ABILENE, Texas — An investigation by the Abilene Police Department in a residence at the 600 block of North Jefferson Street Thursday led to the arrest of a 32-year-old man.
According to an APD press release, Carl Smith was arrested at the residence and charged with third-degree felony possession of child pornography.
Child pornography was found on several devices during the investigation and the devices were seized. Smith was taken to the Taylor County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing and no other information was available at the time of the press release.
