Abilene Police investigating credit union robbery

Abilene Police are looking for a suspect who entered a local credit union, displayed a gun and left with an undisclosed amount of cash Tuesday morning.

ABILENE, Texas — Abilene Police Department detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred just after 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at First Abilene Federal Credit Union, 1118 Pine St.

According to the APD, a white man wearing a gaiter-style face covering entered the bank, displayed a handgun, demanded money from the teller and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No other information is available at this time from the APD.
