Brady PD looking for man who robbed convenience store at gunpoint Thursday morning

The Brady Police Department said an unknown male, wearing a mask, walked into the 7-11 on North Bridge Street, armed with a rifle, and demanded money from the clerk.

The Brady Police Department is looking for a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint early Thursday morning.

A press release from the department said, at approximately 1:45 a.m. Thursday, an unknown male entered the 7-11 Convenience Store, 614 N. Bridge St., displayed a hunting rifle and demanded money from the clerk on duty.

After receiving the money from the register, the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction of travel.

Police say the suspect is approximately 5’6”-5’8” tall; and was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, gloves and a mask, during the aggravated robbery. The clerk was not harmed in the incident.

Anyone with information that could help identify and lead to the arrest of this individual, is asked to call McCulloch County Crimestoppers at 325-456-8477; or go to mctips.org to provide information. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward if it leads to the arrest and criminal prosecution of the offender.
