San Angelo PD Street Crimes Division seizes drugs, paraphernalia in search warrant operation

Investigators found and seized approximately 50 grams of suspected cocaine and drug paraphernalia, as well as a firearm, during the execution of a search warrant.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — On Friday, June 26, San Angelo Police Department Street Crimes Division investigators executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 2500 block of Sweetbriar Drive.

The warrant, issued by Justice of the Peace J.P. McGuire, named Dexter Lewis, 29, to be in possession of a controlled substance at the residence.

Investigators found and seized approximately 50 grams of suspected cocaine, as well as drug paraphernalia associated with drug trafficking. A firearm was also found during the search.

Lewis was charged with first-degree felony manufacture delivery of controlled substance Penalty Group 1.

The SAPD's Anti-Crime Units assisted with Friday’s warrant operation.
