SAN ANGELO, Texas — The San Angelo Independent School District announced Thursday it is requiring new students to fill out the new student registration form.
According to an SAISD press release, students who must fill out the form include:
- New prekindergarten or kindergarten students
- Students who are new to San Angelo
- Students of any age or grade who will be attending a San Angelo ISD school for the first time.
The forms can be filled out on any web browser or smart phone. Parents will be asked to create an account when they access the registration site the first time.

Parents can upload required documents using formats such as PDF and JPEG. The required documents area:
- Proof of residence - a utility bill or lease agreement
- Birth certificate
- Social Security card
- Immunization record
- Withdrawal paperwork from previous school (if applicable)
The district is reminding returning SAISD students they don't need to complete the registration form. Returning students were automatically enrolled at their home school or transfer campus, if approved.
