SAN ANGELO, Texas — Vitalant is hosting its annual Ross Roundup Blood Drive, sponsored by Cecil A. Ross Investment & Insurance, Blair’s Western Wear and 101.3 THE BULL, from April 12-23.
According to a Vitalant press release, donors should be at least 16, weigh at least 110 lbs. and be in good health. Donors ages 16-22 will need to meet additional height and weight requirements.
Donors who are 16 will also need to present a minor permit signed by a parent or guardian. The form can be found on the Viitalant website.
The Vitalant Donation Center, 2020 W. Beauregard Ave., hours of operations are:
- 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
- Noon to 7 p.m. - Thursday
- 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Friday and Saturday
Mobile blood drives will also be held on the following dates and locations:
- 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, April 19 at Cecil A. Ross, 5301 Knickerbocker Road
- 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 20 at Shannon Medical Center, 120 E. Harris Ave.
- 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 21 at Shannon Medical Center, 120 E. Harris Ave.
- 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21 at Shannon Medical Center, 120 E. Harris Ave.
Donors will receive a Chick-fil-A coupon and entry to win the grand prize, a western gift basket valued at more than $500, plus dinner for two at King Krabz.
Appointments are not required but are encouraged.
