Abilene-Taylor Co. Public Health District confirms 10 additional COVID-19-related deaths Sunday

The health district also reported six new confirmed-COVID-19 cases, 20 hospitalizations and 13 recoveries.

ABILENE, Taylor County — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District reported 10 additional COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor County Sunday. 

The deaths increase the total number of COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor County to 363.

According to the health district the patients were:

  • a woman in her 70s
  • a man in his 80s
  • a man in his 90s
  • a woman in her 80s
  • a woman in her 60s
  • a man in his 50s
  • a woman in her 80s
  • a woman in her 60s
  • a woman in her 80s
  • a woman in her 40s

No other information about the patient was available at the time of the release.

The health district also reported six new confirmed COVID-19 cases - all antigen.

There were 13 recoveries reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 14,559

There were 20 hospitalizations included in the report.

As of Mar. 7, Taylor County has administered 54,751 PCR and 82,736 antigen tests, of which, 7,050 PCR and 8,202 antigen tests were confirmed cases.

Additionally, 47,701 negative PCR and 74,534 negative antigen test results reported.
