COVID-19-related deaths increase to 300

The City of San Angelo Public Information Office said there were 21 new confirmed COVID-19 cases to report Sunday.

TOM GREEN COUNTY, Texas — The San Angelo Health Department confirmed three additional COVID-19-related deaths in Tom Green County Sunday.

According to a release from the City of San Angelo's Public Information Office, the patients were a man in his 80s from Tom Green County, a woman in her 80s from Tom Green County and a man in his 60s from Menard County. No further patient information was available.

This brings the total COVID-19-related death count in Tom Green County to 300 - 194 from Tom Green County and 106 from other counties.

The City of San Angelo Public Information Office said there 21 new confirmed COVID-19 cases for Sunday – nine PCR and 12 antigen.

Residents from Tom Green, Coke, Concho, Irion and Runnels counties were included in the cases.

Nineteen current hospitalizations were included in the report.

Additionally, 17 new confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported for Saturday, Feb. 20 - five PCR and 12 antigen.

As of Feb. 21, the City has reported a total of 16,238 positive cases, of which 645 are active
