Fifteen new confirmed COVID-19 cases reported for Tom Green Co. Wednesday

Fifteen current hospitalizations were included in the report.

SAN ANGELO, Tom Green County — The City of San Angelo Public Information Office said there are 15 new confirmed COVID-19 cases - eight PCR and seven antigen - for Tom Green County Wednesday.

Residents from Tom Green, Sutton and Williamson counties were included in the cases. There were also 15 current hospitalizations reported.

  • White female, 26; resident of TGC
  • Unknown demographic, male, 18; resident of TGC
  • Hispanic female, 12; resident of TGC
  • Hispanic female, 63; resident of TGC
  • Hispanic female, 41; resident of TGC
  • White male, 18; resident of TGC

Antigen

  • Hispanic female, 65; resident of TGC
  • White male, 19; resident of Williamson County
  • White female, 30; resident of TGC
  • Unknown demographic, male, 22; resident of TGC
  • Unknown demographic, male, 22; resident of TGC
  • Hispanic male, 43; resident of TGC
  • White male, 51; resident of TGC

As of Sept. 16, the City has reported a total of 3,499 positive cases. 

The number of active cases was not available at the time of the release.

The City also confirmed the 66th COVID-19-related death in Tom Green County.
