TOM GREEN COUNTY, Texas — The City of San Angelo Public Information Office said there were 140 new confirmed COVID-19 cases for Friday – 16 PCR and 124 antigen.
The cases included residents from Tom Green, Crockett, Sutton, Schleicher, Val Verde, Runnels, Irion, Sterling, Hidalgo, Reagan, Coke and Edwards counties, as well as from out of state.
There were 108 current hospitalizations included in the report.
As of Jan. 8, the City has reported a total of 13,875 positive cases.
The number of active cases was not available at the time of the release.
The City previously confirmed two additional COVID-19-related deaths in Tom Green County.
