ABILENE, Taylor County — The Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District reported 69 new confirmed COVID-19 cases Friday – 21 PCR and 48 antigen.
The health district also reported 24 recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,669.
Twenty-four current hospitalizations were included in the report.
As of Oct. 9, there have been 17,090 PCR and 17,327 antigen tests administered in Taylor County. Of those tests, 1,616 PCR and 1,736 antigen were confirmed cases.
There were also 15,474 negative PCR and 15,591 negative antigen test results reported.
