COVID-19 cases continue to rise in the Concho Valley and the Big Country

The Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District reported 34 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, while the City of San Angelo reported 15 new cases.

TEXAS, USA — COVID-19 cases continue to rise across the country, and West Texas appears to be no exception. Thirty-four newly-confirmed cases were reported Tuesday by the Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District, while the City of San Angelo reported 15 new cases.

In Taylor County, seven additional recoveries were reported by the Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District, bringing its current active cases to 110 with nine current hospitalizations, four of which are Taylor County residents.

In Tom Green County, there are a total of 196 active cases with 24 current hospitalizations.
