Registration for single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine open through San Angelo Health Dept.

Registration is open to anyone 18 and older, but supplies are limited.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Registration is open for COVID-19 vaccinations through the San Angelo Health Department, according to the City of San Angelo's Public Information Office.

The vaccine being administered is the single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.

Registration is open to anyone 18 and older. The health department has a limited supply of vaccinations to offer this week.

Anyone interested is asked to visit the link to schedule a vaccination appointment.

The vaccination clinic will be held Friday, April 9, at the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Drive.

The San Angelo Health Department is following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and state guidelines for the administration of the vaccine. Other local vaccine providers may have additional availability.
