San Angelo Health Department confirms two additional COVID-19-related deaths Friday

The City of San Angelo reported 38 new confirmed COVID-19 cases and 101 current hospitalizations.

TOM GREEN COUNTY, Texas — The San Angelo Health Department confirmed two additional COVID-19-related deaths in Tom Green County Friday afternoon.

The patients were a woman in her 70s from Tom Green County and a woman in her 80s from Tom Green County.

The new deaths bring the total number of COVID-19-related deaths in Tom Green County to 139 - 90 from Tom Green County and 49 from other counties.

No other information about the patient was available at the time of the release.

Additionally, the City of San Angelo Public Information Office said there were 38 new confirmed COVID-19 cases for Friday – 13 PCR and 25 antigen.

Residents from Tom Green, Runnels, Sutton, McCulloch, Williamson and Reagan counties, as well as out of state were included in the cases.

There were 101 current hospitalizations included in the report.

As of Nov. 27, the City has reported a total of 8,911 positive cases.

The number of active cases was not available at the time of the release.
