San Angelo Health Dept. confirms 83rd, 84th COVID-19-related deaths

One patient was a man in his 70s from Kimble County; the other patient was a woman in her 70s from Tom Green County.

TOM GREEN COUNTY, Texas — The City of San Angelo Health Department has confirmed two additional COVID-19-related deaths in Tom Green County - a man in his 70s from Kimble County and a woman in her 70s from Tom Green County.

This brings the total COVID-19-related death count in Tom Green County to 84 - 55 from Tom Green County and 29 from other counties.

No further information was available about the patients at the time of the release.

Additionally, the City of San Angelo Public Information Office reported 45 new confirmed COVID-19 cases Thursday – 14 PCR and 31 antigen.

Residents from Tom Green, Val Verde, Nolan, Reagan, Concho, Coke, Collin and Runnels counties were included in the cases.

Thirty-eight current hospitalizations were included in the report.

The City has reported a total of 4,472 positive cases, of which 354 are active.
