ABILENE, Taylor County — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed the 63rd COVID-19-related death - a woman in her 80s with pre-existing health conditions - in Taylor County Sunday.
The health district also reported 13 new confirmed COVID-19 cases - four PCR and nine antigen.
Additionally, 13 recoveries were reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,818.
Thirty-seven current hospitalizations were also reported.
As of, Oct. 18, Taylor County has administered 18,953 PCR and 20,029 antigen tests. Of those tests, 1,752 PCR and 2,028 antigen tests were confirmed cases.
There were also 17,201 negative PCR and 18,001 antigen test results reported.
