Taylor Co. COVID-19-related deaths surpass 320

ABILENE, Taylor County — The Abilene-Taylor County Health District confirmed eight additional COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor County Sunday.

This brings the total number of COVID-19-related deaths in Taylor County to 326.

The patients were three men in their 80s, a man in his 70s, a man in his 40s, a woman in her 80s and a woman in her 50s.

The health district reported eight new confirmed COVID-19 cases - all antigen.

Thirty-nine recoveries were also reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 13,257.

Twenty-five hospitalizations were included in the report.

As of, Feb. 14, Taylor County has administered 51,048 PCR and 73,111 antigen tests. Of those tests, 1,319 PCR and 1,105 antigen tests were confirmed cases.

Additionally, 44,182 negative PCR and 65,084 negative antigen cases were reported.
