Another scam to beware of! This time it has to do with iTunes.

The Sonora police department releasing a warning to consumers that thieves are going around trying to scam money from residents by asking them to send money through I-tunes gift cards.

One victim received an email that said his apple account had been compromised and to fix it they had to pay a small fee to the "company."

That fee kept increasing as the scammers continued to take more money from the victims account.

Sonora PD says if you receive an email like this contact your local police department.
