When you think of some of the most consistent basketball programs in the Concho Valley, one of the first ones you might think of is the Wall girls basketball team. Head coach Tate Lombard has built up a successful program over the years. Part of the success comes from allowing the underclassman to get a taste of the varsity level early on. It worked with junior Sawyer Lloyd who played on a state championship team as a freshman, among many others who made deep runs in the past. With only three seniors on the squad this year, most of the underclassmen have played as much playoff ball as most seniors do.
