SAN ANGELO, Texas — On Tuesday afternoon, San Angelo Police Chief Frank Carter and assistant chiefs Tracy Fincher and David Howard accepted a $1,000 donation from the All Veterans Council of Tom Green County.
The donation is for the purchase of a new police service dog.
A social media post from the SAPD said," The men and women of the San Angelo Police Department appreciate this generous donation! If you would like to help the Department's K9 Unit raise money for a new team member, please send a check or money order to: San Angelo Police Department c/o K9 Unit Box 5020 San Angelo Texas 76902."
