JONES COUNTY, Texas — An Anson woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Jones County Monday afternoon.
According to a preliminary crash report from the Texas Department of Public Safety, an SUV driven by Jose A. Salcedo of Anson, was stopped on Country Road 354, where it intersects with US-83. A car, driven by Olivia R. Ramos of Anson, was traveling north on US-83.
Salcedo pulled out in front of Ramos' car and the two vehicles collided.
Salcedo was transported to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene with a stable/non-incapacitating injury. His passenger, Victoria Spencer of Anson, was transported to Hendrick with a stable/non-incapacitating injury, as well.
Ramos was transported to Hendrick with a serious/incapacitating injury. Her passenger, Marcela Bustamante of Anson was transported to Hendrick, where she was pronounced dead.
No further information was available from DPS.
