SAN ANGELO, Texas — On Friday, April 15, most City of San Angelo offices will be closed in observance of Good Friday.
City office closures for Good Friday (reopen 8 a.m. Monday, April 18)
- Animal Services (Animal Shelter)
- City Hall and the Community Development Building
- City Hall Annex
- Fairmount Cemetery’s business offices
- Municipal Court
- Parks and Recreation offices
- San Angelo-Tom Green County Health Department
- Southside and Carl Ray Johnson recreation centers
- Station 618 and Santa Fe Crossing senior centers
Here's what will be open:
Fort Concho National Historic Landmark, 630 S. Oakes St.
Fort Concho’s Visitor Center in Barracks 1 will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Good Friday and Saturday. The fort will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Easter Sunday, April 17. Self-guided tours are available all weekend.

San Angelo Nature Center, 7409 Knickerbocker Road
The San Angelo Nature Center will be open from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 16, for its Easter Eggstravaganza. Crafts, face painting and a 2 p.m. egg hunt will be available. General admission for ages 3 and younger is free; ages 4-12 is $2 and ages 13 and older is $3.
Trash service
There will be no interruption in trash pickup or landfill operations on Good Friday.
WIC
The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) offices, normally closed on Fridays, will also be closed Thursday. Offices will reopen at 7 a.m. Monday, April 18.
