Methamphetamine seized by San Angelo Police serving search warrant

SAN ANGELO, Texas — San Angelo Police Department Street Crimes Division detectives serving a search warrant arrested a San Angelo woman after finding methamphetamine in the home.

According to the SAPD, on Monday detectives executed the search warrant at a home in the 900 block of East 14th Street.

The warrant, issued by District Judge Jay Weatherby, named Veronica Pena to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine at the home.

A quantity of suspected methamphetamine was found and seized.

Pena, who was found at the home, was detained during the search.

She was later charged with first-degree felony manufacture delivery of controlled substance Penalty Group 1 and booked into the Tom Green County Jail, with bond set at $75,000.

Members of the Center for Tactical Medicine and the SAPD's K-9 Unit helped with the warrant operation.
