Paranormal Cirque lands in Abilene amid pandemic

The traveling circus says masks are mandatory and social distancing will be in place to keep guests safe

ABILENE, Texas — It's not your average circus.. in fact, it's paranormal.

The Paranormal Cirque, an alternative themed traveling circus has made its way into the Big Country and is located at the Mall of Abilene.

"Our circus is pretty traditional as far as acts go. We have gymnasts, acrobats, and aerialists involved" says Cirque Manager, and performer Olivia Mattice.

According to Mattice, the Paranormal Cirque is following along with CDC guidelines to keep their guests safe.

Masks are mandatory when entering the tent, and they will provide you with a mask for 1$ if you don't have one of your own.

Mattice says there are sanitization stations available and social distancing will be in place.

"We also close every other row here in our stadium because we are only holding 25% of our normal capacity, in between each party we have three seats open which equals about 6 feet," says Mattice.

The circus will be in Abilene from August 13th - August 16th.
