San Angelo Symphony moves holiday concert online

Out of concern for the health and well-being of its patrons, musicians, staff and volunteers, the San Angelo Symphony will offer its holiday Pops concert digitally.

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Citing the health and well-being of its patrons, musicians, staff and volunteers, the San Angelo Symphony announced Friday it will offer its Dec. 5 Holiday Pops Concert, "A Holly Jolly Holiday Pops," as a “digital concert experience” only.

All current 2020-2021 season subscribers will be able to view the performance of the orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Hector Guzman, along with special guest artist, Patti Wetzel, from the comfort of their own homes.

Subscribers will receive a link Monday, Dec. 7, of a recording of the concert, which can be viewed for one week ending at midnight Sunday, Dec. 13. Instructions for viewing will be provided with the emailed link and the symphony’s new digital" We Are Music" program book will be available through the use of a QR code.

Current 2020-2021 season subscribers can contact the symphony office at 325-658-5877, to confirm staff has current email addresses.

Single ticket purchasers will have the opportunity to purchase a ticket for the link, as well.
