ABILENE, Texas — At 6:27 a.m. Thursday, Abilene Police were called to a north Abilene hospital in connection to 13-year-old and a 15-year-old girls, who were suffering from stab wounds.
The investigation led to a residence located in the 4400 block of Capitol Avenue in north Abilene. It was learned that a large house party led to an argument between two groups that resulted in the assault of the two juveniles.
Later in the afternoon, the Abilene Police Department Investigations Division arrested two women in connection to the stabbings.
Mariah Garza, 17, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Misti Bowen, 34, is charged with state jail felony criminal negligence.
Both are being held in the Taylor County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
