SAN ANGELO, Texas — The City of San Angelo said Monday morning water technicians have started the next step in the City's boil water notice process – taking samples throughout town.

Technicians will take more than 50 samples from different distribution stations throughout San Angelo. Once completed, the samples require a minimum of 18 hours for completion.

This process, the City said, can take up to one to two days. These types of samples do not have to be sent off to Austin and can be processed locally.
