Abilene, TX — College football season is roughly a month and a half away and one West Texas team is battling a big 12 right out of the gates. The ACU Wildcats will take on Baylor for their first game of the season in Waco on September 1st. They follow up the next week taking on Angelo State for the first time since 2012. Coming off a season 2-9 might have several feeling underwhelmed about this year. Consistent offensive production was an area that ACU was looking to improve on this summer. ACU Head Coach, Adam Dorrel, and some of his players were in Houston for the Southland Conference Media Day. Dorrel talked about some new leaders stepping up this summer, bringing a positive change to his offense just in the nick of time.
