SAN ANGELO, Texas — A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Bryant Boulevard and West 7th Street slowed traffic briefly Friday afternoon.
SAPD Officer Welch said a gray Ford Explorer was headed northbound near the 600 block of North Bryant Boulevard.
She was going to turn left onto the frontage road (West 7th Street), Welch said. A white Chrysler 300 was headed southbound on North Bryant.
"The Ford turned on a red light, so basically turned left when prohibited because the light was red," Welch said. The driver turned in front of the Chrysler then was struck.
There was one occupant in the Ford who wasn't injured by the collision. There were two female occupants in the Chrysler, which the youngest female occupant was transported to San Angelo Community Medical Center with non-incapacitating injuries.
The driver of the Ford was cited for disregarding a red light causing the accident.
