SAN ANGELO, TX — In a statement the Administration for Children and Families at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services said: the lack of parental protection and the hazardous journey children take make them vulnerable to human trafficking, exploitation, and abuse.
For these reasons, the Trump Administration has been calling on Congress to close dangerous loopholes in US immigration laws to house immigrant children.
They also said properties with existing infrastructure are routinely being evaluated and identified for temporary sheltering.
