ABILENE, TX. — Career day has Woodson Center senior, Isaiah Casarez thinking about life after high school. Casarez was accepted to ACU since his junior year.
"Right now I have my certifications in welding and I also want to explore those options after I graduate," says Casarez.
At a young age, Casarez learned the value of hard work from his father, spending his life juggling school and work.
"Last year I had two jobs and that was kind of hectic," says Casarez.
For Casarez, his senior year is flying by and although it hasn't always been easy, he knows that his family has his back.
"To be able to provide more than what's necessary, to actually have more than we used to when I was little and so that's what pushes me forward everyday," says Casarez.
