SAN ANGELO, TX — They held this event in conjunction with DPS and they tell us they doubled the number of people coming to drop off their expired medications within a few hours.
This drug take back is one of two that AD-ACCV holds each year.
It's an event that makes a big impact on the Concho Valley.
Ray Valadez DFC Prevention Director said, "About 70% of people 12 and older who misuse prescription medication actually get them from friends and family."
