The ball is an opportunity for the community to interact with the men and women who put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe. And, it's not just a party.
Assistant Fire Chief Todd Sanford says the proceeds will go toward a bigger cause. “By starting the foundation and putting that money aside we're going to be able to send our guys to get some specialized training that's going to benefit the fire department, and it's going to benefit the citizens by having qualified personnel here in the city,” said Sanford.
Tickets to the ball are $50 each and the last day to buy one is Wednesday.
The full story on where these funds go will air Friday Nov. 17 at 6 right here on FOX.
