The San Angelo Police Department's Street Crimes Division, K9 Unit, and Texas Department of Public Safety's Criminal Investigations Division found several different types of drugs after executing search warrants on two different homes in San Angelo.

Some of the drugs found were Tetrahydrocannabinols candy, or THC candy, THC oils, and 12 grams of powdered MDMA.

According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, MDMA is a synthetic drug and is a hallucinogen and stimulant. It's commonly known as "Molly" or Ecstacy. Ecstasy, however, is often laced with other substances like caffeine, methamphetamine, the diet drug ephedrine, and/or other over-the-counter substances. "Molly" is often sold and consumed in crystal, powder, or pill form. It is pure MDMA, but can be laced with other substances as well.
