Congress is quickly running out of time to strike a deal for young immigrants known as dreamers. As the March fifth deadline for the DACA program is only a few weeks away.

Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell is planning to fulfill a promise made to democrats by bringing up a general immigration bill.

Marco Rubio says, “It’s very unusual. Rarely does a bill come to the floor where people don't know what the outcome will be."

The bill mirrors President Trump's framework offering a path to citizenship for nearly two million dreamers and other immigrants while funding border security and the wall.

But even though debate hasn't even begun the bill may already be running into problems with some lawmakers saying it won't pass in the house.
