ABILENE, TX — Not only is Abilene known as the storybook capital of the world, it is now ranked top 10% best public libraries in the state of Texas.
For the second time ever, the Abilene public library receives the Texas Achievement in Library Excellence Award.
Providing cultural and educational programming for adults and families, to summer reading clubs and more is what makes our library a place to be.
”It makes me very proud of the people I work with, it makes me really proud of the support that this community has for the library,” says librarian, Lori Grumet.
