The Texas Dental Association is hosting a two-day event, providing free dental care to low-income families. But first, the association is in need of volunteers.

They are needing medical professionals that want to help give back to the community.

The goal is to serve more than 700 individuals on Oct. 13 and 14.

Committee member Kaitlyn Brosh said, "Events like this allow them to get that basic care and then hopefully we can get them directed to services that can continue good dental care for their future."
