The animated sequel Cars 3 made nearly $75 million worldwide during its debut weekend. The merchandise from the film is also expected to be a hit.

Star Owen Wilson was impressed by the remote-control Lightning McQueen car.

“I’m glad that the technology has finally caught up with my dreams. I mean, this is really cool. See, I could do like a ventriloquist,” Wilson said.

Wonder Woman smashed box office expectations -- and the cast was humbled by the amount of clothing, toys and action figures available.

“I’m kind-of numb. Like, I see this, I know it’s me there, but I don’t really get it. But it’s cool. So, it’s cool, it’s cool,” Gal Gadot said.

“I have to say, the moment I saw my action figures online, I was [like], ‘Oh my God, I cannot believe it,’” Connie Nielsen said.

Other sure to be big sellers this summer include toys from Transformers: The Last Knight, Despicable Me 3, Spider-Man: Homecoming, The Emoji Movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
