ABILENE, Texas — Tige Boats Inc. announced they will begin production Friday on face shields.
According to a social media post by Tige Boats CEO/Owner Charlie Pigeon the boating company will begin manufacturing the face shields along with other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that is in high demand.
"I am so proud of our team at Tigé. We are now producing PPE and other items for the medical community. Everyone jumped in and took pride in being part of a solution. Starting Friday we will be producing 500 face shields a day as well as gowns and other necessities. " said Pigeon.
Pigeon says the company intends to donate the PPE which includes face shields, face masks, and protective suits at no cost to medical personnel.
"We are donating as long as we can and our great partners continue to work with us. We will try to increase that amount ASAP based on the many requests we have had throughout the medical community. #tigelove " said Pigeon.
A Press Release states that Tige Boats Inc. encourages other boating manufactures to do the same. Tige is offering templates, video training and instructions if any other boat companies are interested.
