ABILENE, Texas — Abilene Christian men's and women's basketball teams are coming off of back-to-back wins over Lamar on Saturday.

The men's team has eight conference wins, sitting at third in the Southland conference. The Wildcats are heading into the last stretch of conference play starting with Houston Baptist at home Wednesday.

Coach Joe Golding says it has been the teams priority this season to protect home court and his team looks forward to continuing that on Wednesday night.

The ACU women's team is 9-3 in conference play, fourth in the Southland conference. The Wildcats are on a two game win streak entering the last half of conference play.

"Coach Golding and I love the doubleheaders. It encourages our fans to come out in big numbers. We are excited about playing at home Wednesday in front of our home crowd," coach Julie Goodenough added.

ACU will host a double header on Wednesday against Houston Baptist. The women tip-off at 5:30 and the men tip-off at 7:30 at Moody Coliseum.
