ABILENE, Texas — Abilene Christian tops Champion Christian 90-58 at home to snap their three game losing streak.
Coach Golding was happy with the win his team had today but believes every game here on out is going to be a challenge.
"You have to give it to Champion Christian they did a great job. We had to play today and I think that's a good thing, we needed to come out and play, we didn't need a 70 point win," Golding added.
Despite the poor shooting from the outside, including the Wildcats 28% shooting from three, coach has confidence his teams shooting will start to click soon. "I have confidence in our guys to shoot the basketball. We have to continue to give them confidence when they are open to shoot the basketball and they have to make shots."
ACU finishes out the month playing at Texas State Nov. 26th and SMU Nov. 29th.
