Abilene Christian tops Howard Payne 96-38 for fourth straight win

The Wildcats win four straight before heading to Norman to take on the Oklahoma Sooners

ABILENE, Texas — Abilene Christian tops Howard Payne 96-38 for their fourth straight win.

Senior Lexie Ducat believes the teams chemistry is at an all time high, saying, "We are at the point where we are becoming more like a family and a strong unit this year. I think that it's going to translate on the court."

Ducat led the team with 20 points and 9 boards, shooting 10 for 11 from the field. Coach Goodenough is very impressed with the way she has been playing, adding, "Lexie did a phenomenal job getting in position on the block and recognizing what the defense was giving her."

Now undefeated this season, coach Goodenough likes what she is seeing from her team.

"This is our fourth game, our fourth win, and the starters have been really consistent about setting the tone for us at the beginning of the game."

ACU heads to Norman Nov. 26th for their first away game this season against the Oklahoma Sooners.
